The National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine will consider the situation with prices for medicines after parliamentary elections, President Viktor Yanukovych said at the meeting of the Committee on Economic Reforms in Kyiv on Wednesday.
"I warn you, [Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister] Raisa Vasylivna [Bohatyriova] that as soon as the elections are over, we will consider everything thoroughly at a meeting of the National; Security and Defense Council – what has been done, and what has not been done. And if we find that there are those who delayed these processes, they and you will be held responsible for it," he said.
In addition, the President said that reduction in prices is being conducted, but not systematically and some initiatives in this field are slowed.
