In Ukraine, the flu vaccine will appear on October 20-21, the Main Healthcare Directorate of Health immunologist Oleh Nazar told a round table "When the flu epidemic will be and the reasons for vaccination", ForUm correspondent reports.
"Vaccines will appear on October 20-21. Actually, they have already appeared, but we cannot use them. As soon as we receive certificates, vaccination will start," Nazar said.
He also recalled that the flu vaccine will be paid by the Ukrainians themselves. "Vaccines will cost from 73 UAH. They can be made only after consultation with a doctor in the vaccination points at clinics," he said.
According to doctors, three strains of influenza will circulate this winter in Ukraine, "Wisconsin", "Victoria" and "Californian" (swine flu).
