Ukraine will implement series of space projects in 2013, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said at the Cabinet’s meeting.
According to Azarov, Ukraine will deepen its cooperation in the space sphere with Russia, the United States, and the countries of the EU, South America, Asia, and Africa.
"The government has approved a number of instructions on the further development of space activities. It will allow continue the building of the Cyclone-4 space rocket complex and a ground facility at the Alcantara Launch Center in Brazil," he said.
In addition, the Pm mentioned that the construction of An-70 cargo aircraft, Sapsan multipurpose missile system, and corvettes will continue in 2012.
As reported, 2.58 billion UAH have been expected to allocate for funding the state space program 2013-2017.
