Parliament approved amendments to Land Code

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the first reading approved in principle the law on amendments to the Land Code of Ukraine. 240 MPs voted in favor of this bill, ForUm correspondent reported.

"This law imposes a moratorium on the sale of agricultural land until the law on the land market is adopted. While we do not agree all the positions, hold the round tables and consult with farmers, we will not accept the law on the land market," MP Mykhailo Chechetov said.
