International observers, who will come to Ukraine for parliamentary elections, will be granted free of charge visas, Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleh Voloshyn told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

"All international observers will pass customs and passport controls under simplified procedure," he added. According to Voloshyn, such procedure will help to avoid long lines in Ukrainian airports.

"I want to remind you that this is not ten or hundred observers, but several thousands," FM spokesman noted.

Voloshyn also informed that the Foreign Ministry initiated the creation of special information stands in main terminals of Boryspol airport to assist observers in cooperation with the OSCE Bureau of democratic institutions on human rights and other missions.

"Moreover, we have launched a hot line for observers and maintain working contacts with heads of all missions," Voloshyn added.
