
The Verkhovna Rada has adopted a law on amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine (regarding restrictions on the use of assisted reproductive technologies).
250 MPs voted in favor of such decision, ForUm correspondent reports.
The law implies changes to the Family Code of Ukraine and the Basic Law of Ukraine on public health to determine the categories of persons in respect of whom the restriction on the use of assisted reproductive technology enters, in particular:
- citizens of Ukraine not older than 21 years;
- foreign citizens and persons without citizenship;
- incompetent persons;
- persons who are registered or are under the treatment in the mental or drug abuse clinics.
