The new convocation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will start its work on December 17, head of the regulation committee Volodymyr Makeyenko told reporters on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, due to the new system there will be changes in the rules, which will include the status of "independent MP".
"A group of deputies will have the right of legislative initiative. The minimum size of a group - 14 people. The minimum number to create a fraction is the same," the head of the committee said.
He also noted that the new Parliament will establish a working group to appoint the Parliament’s leadership and distribute the committees.
