The signing of the Association Agreement will significantly intensify our reforms, first vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Khoroshkovsky said during the meeting of the Cerberus Foundation in the framework of his visit to Germany.
Communicating with German politicians and leading experts on "The political future of Ukraine - EU relations", the first vice PM said that the Association Agreement is a tool of Ukraine’s modernization. He said that after the signing of the Association Agreement, systemic reforms according to European standards will be not arbitrary, but mandatory program for Ukraine.
In addition, Khoroshkovsky said the government is actively working to ensure free and fair parliamentary elections in Ukraine. "There is a clear political will of the President and all the political forces to ensure free will of expression of Ukrainian people. I am sure we will show the world an example of democratic elections," the first vice PM said.
