Elections are not a challenge, but an exam for Ukraine, deputy foreign minister of Ukraine Andriy Olefirov said, ForUm correspondent reports.
"I would not say that the elections are a challenge to the European integration. They are the next test for democracy. But, in my opinion, you do not have to be like students who are preparing the night before the exam," the diplomat stressed.
During the discussion, Olefirov also commented on the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
"As for the Association Agreement, any events should not prevent its further implementation in life," the deputy minister said.
In particular, he noted that the Association Agreement should be a way of approaching of the Ukrainian society to the European standards. According to him, this is the main goal for Ukraine.
