International Amateur Boxing Association (AIBA) has recognized Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk the best boxer of 2012, the National Olympics Committee official website informs.
"Oleksandr Usyk became the Best Elite Men Boxer of the Year (Heavyweight (91kg)," the message says.
The boxer’s fans remember not only his bright victories, but the performance of Ukrainian hopak dance after each fight.
In 2009, the winner of this category was a two-time Olympic champion Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko.
