As the Healthcare Ministry press service informs, 120 cases of acute intestinal infection, including 112 children cases have been registered since October 5.
During this period, 66 patients have been hospitalized, 59 of them - the children. The rest are being treated at home.
Laboratory confirmed the diagnosis of 21 people (19 have Shigella Sonnei (Sonne dysentery) - in, 2 patients have St. Aureus (Staphylococcus aureus).
"In the last days there were no new applications and hospitalization of children with acute intestinal infection," the report says.
The SES specialists Kharkiv region held final disinfection in 20 schools and four kindergartens of Bogodukhiv district.
