School holidays to begin four days earlier in Kyiv

In Kyiv, the school holidays will begin four days earlier due to the elections, the order published on the website of the Main Department of Education and Science of the Kyiv City State Administration reports.

According to the document, the holidays will last from October 25 to October 31, but not from October 29 to November 4.

The decision was taken in response to the letter of the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports from September 17 due to the fact that the vast majority of polling stations are located at schools.

Parliamentary elections in Ukraine are scheduled for October 28.
