In the near future, the Central Election Commission will decide what to do with the equipment purchased for the video monitoring after the election, member of the Central Election Commission Mykhailo Okhendovsky said during presentation of the system, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, the decision will be made in a way "to protect the interests of the state and society."

In turn, director general of the Sitronics - the direct executor of the project Kateryna Chala said that this equipment can be used, for example, in the centers for independent assessment of knowledge.
In particular, the journalists were informes that the price of one set of equipment worth about 7128 UAH or 891 USD. It includes: laptop, video camera, USB and network cables, extension cords and a metal cabinet with lock and security cable. Video monitoring system will cover 32.3 thousand of precinct election commissions. The state budget allocated 993.6 million UAH for the installation of the system.
