Law "On the state budget of Ukraine for 2012" provides the Culture Ministry with 2 134. 33 million UAH, culture minister Mykhailo Kulynyak told a briefing.
"On October 2, the Parliament adopted amendments to the law "On the state budget of Ukraine for 2012" on increase in volume of expenses by 71 million UAH to provide employees of culture and education institutions with full payment of wages," the culture minister stressed
Kulynyak also said that the Cabinet allocated 20 million UAH to buy the Ukrainian-language books for library collection development. The state budget allocated 963.9 thousand UAH on implementation of events on re-establishment of the culture of ethnic minorities.
