Ukraine did not supply weapons to Syria, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine reports.

"Ukraine did not and does not deliver such goods to Syria," FM spokesman Oleksandr Dikusarov told a briefing.

“Ukraine strictly abides its international obligations in the field of transferring goods of military purpose,” Dykusarov assured.

He said that Ukraine does not supply weapons to any country in contradiction with UN Security Council security requirements.

Earlier on Tuesday, British broadcaster BBC reported that it discovered crates with ammunition of Ukrainian origin in the Syrian city of Aleppo. According to the report, three crates from the Luhansk cartridge plant in eastern Ukraine were addressed to Saudi Arabia.

Ukrainian company "Dastan" refused to comment on reports that weapons of their production were found in Syria. Representative of the company stressed in an interview with Ukrainian Broadcasting Service that "Dastan" has no contacts with Saudi Arabia.
