Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov considers a number of law enforcement officials to be optimal and assures that their staff will not be reduced, he said during his working trip in Odessa, the Cabinet’s pres service reports.
"All talks about reduction of a number of law enforcement officials are unfounded. Now we have the optimal structure and optimal combination of technical services, operational staff and patrol and inspection service," Azarov stressed.
However, the Prime Minister noted that the government will strengthen the social protection of policemen. Thus, according to him, next year, wages to law enforcement officials will be raised again.
