Election observation mission of the European Parliament will begin on October 24.
According to the European Parliament, the EP mission members were currently conducting preparatory work.
In particular, on October 8, President of the delegation Pawel Kowal and vice President Michael Gahler went to Ukraine to meet with the Ukrainian authorities, political parties and the OSCE/ODIHR long-term observation mission.
"This formal pre-election visit was authorized by the conference of presidents at the beginning of this month, which gives special importance to the upcoming parliamentary elections for Ukraine's relations with the European Union," the statement stressed.
The parliamentary elections in Ukraine are scheduled for October 28.
