In connection with violent weather conditions in the regions of Ukraine, President Viktor Yanukovych instructed the heads of local governments at all levels to take comprehensive measures for appropriate overcoming the effects of the disaster, ForUm learned from the President’s press office.

"Yanukovych calls on local authorities to ensure the stable operation of the transport infrastructure, civil engineering, communication lines and systems of electricity, gas and water supply, as well as other systems of housing and communal services," the press service informs.

The President instructed to ensure the stable operation of medical facilities, social infrastructure objects and educational institutions.

Earlier, on October 8, President Viktor Yanukovych delayed his working visit to disaster-hit Kirovohrad region.
