Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov assured Ukrainians that the gas prices will be stable the next year, he said, communicating with the readers of the "Komsomolskaya Pravda in Ukraine" newspaper, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The gas prices will not grow up. Moreover, we think how to reduce the rates for our industry, because the prices are too high and put our economy, our metallurgy industry and all consumers of gas in the non-competitive conditions," the Prime Minister said.
According to Azarov, Ukraine is holding negotiations with Russia on the revision of gas contracts, as well as reduce in the amount of fuel imports from this country.
