First deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Mazurchak offers "Kyivatodor" not to sprinkle streets with salt and sand and use the reagents following the example of Moscow, chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov told a meeting of the Board of the KCSA on preparedness of urban enterprises of traffic complexes in Kyiv for the autumn-winter period of 2012-2013, ForUm correspondent reports.

"I think this year, we need to take one carriage of reagents for Khreschatyk and the central part of the city to protect green spaces," the Kyiv official noted.

According to him, "Kyivatodor" confirms that the reagents are four times more expensive than salt, but no one calculates the total aggregate costs on the roads cleaning in winter.
