
The Embassy of Ukraine in Russia recommends citizens of Ukraine until October 22 to apply to the diplomatic institutions of Ukraine in the Russian Federation for inclusion into voters’ registry to be able to vote in election to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ukrainian Embassy in Moscow informs.
"Until October 22, 2012, a voter can apply to the local election commission for inclusion in the list of voters, to which the required documents (copies) are to be attached," the report says.
It is noted that the application shall be immediately transferred through the diplomatic missions of Ukraine abroad to the state register of voters’ office in the Foreign Ministry. Upon review of the application, the state register of voters’ office updates the list of voters, which shall be sent to an overseas polling station till October 25.
It is reported that the preliminary list of electors for the overseas polling stations will be sent to precinct election commissions till October 5, 2012.
