Foreign Ministry of Ukraine hopes that during the adoption of the draft bill on safe information space for children the MPs will observe international obligations, FM spokesman Oleh Voloshyn told the eleventh meeting of diplomatic representative offices of Ukraine, ForUm correspondent reports.

"We expect the parliament to observe international obligations regarding the rights of minorities, including sexual ones, when it will consider the draft bill," he noted.

According to the official, for the Foreign Ministry this matter is important, as the observation of the rights of sexual minorities is of no less importance than rights of national minorities, and European partners closely follow this issue.

"If we want integration with the EU we cannot ignore this issue," Voloshyn explained.
