Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych notes the importance of updating of the material and technical basis of foreign diplomatic missions of the state, he said during a meeting with members of the 11th meeting of the heads of foreign diplomatic missions in Ukraine, the press service of the head of state reports.
According to the President, there is a need to define a list of issues and a volume of activities on development of the Ukrainian diplomatic missions. This relates to the land issues, repair and reconstruction of the buildings and upgrading of the material and technical basis. This work, according to the President, should be systematic.
He stressed that in the near future, the diplomats should discuss and prepare proposals for the financial support of the appropriate steps, because these activities represent our country abroad.
