Ukraine does not have an issue on food security, minister of agrarian policy and food Mykola Prysyazhnyuk told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We have harvested 25.4 million tones of early crops and 15 million tons of wheat. Annually, Ukraine consumes about six million tons of food grains, so we do not have the issue on food security," the minister noted.
According to him, the harvest of this year amounts to 45-46 million tons, which is the third rate of the last five years.
