All boilers in Ukraine are ready for the heating season, regional development, construction, housing and communal services minister of Ukraine Anatoly Blyzniuk told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We are starting the heating season. All the boilers are ready. Systems are being filled, the pressure is being checked, and if the average daily temperature is below 8 degrees Celsius, the heating season will begin throughout the country. However, it will begin no later than on October 15," Blyzniuk promised.
Moreover, according to the minister, hospitals, kindergartens and other similar institutions have been already heated.
"Taking into account results of the last year, we will be able to go through this cold season even better," Blyzniuk hoped.
He also said that 276 boilers will be transferred to alternative fuels this year.
