Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov instructed the Finance Ministry and local governments to consider the issue of the first installment payment under the program of preferential mortgage loans at budget’s cost.
"It is important to solve the housing problems of teachers in rural and urban areas. To date, the government implemented many programs aimed at addressing the issue of housing," Prime Minister said during the Cabinet of Ministers meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
The Prime Minister reminded about the "70 x 30" program and preferential mortgage at 3% per annum.
"Let's consider the question of the first installment payment at the budget’s cost for these programs to work effectively for teachers. Local authorities and the Finance Ministry should take this into account in the formation of the state budget 2013. The issue of provision teachers with housing should be a priority on the agenda of all levels of government," the Prime Minister said.
