Ukrainian foreign policy must be headed by economic priorities of the country, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said at a meeting with chairmen of foreign diplomatic establishments of Ukraine, ForUm correspondent reports.

Economic integration is a form of the fight for survival at the moment. In this respect, I want to point out the agreement on FTA with the EU, ratified in March of 2012. After the parliamentary elections we must speed up the work on the realization of this agreement," the Premier said.

According to the PM, the FTA agreement with the EU is the achievement of Ukrainian diplomacy. "These are two serious epochal agreements," he said.

Azarov also informed that Ukraine is holding talk on free trade area with Turkey, Israel, Lebanon, Canada, Morocco.

Moreover, according to Azarov, Ukrainian diplomats pay special attentions to the cooperation with the Eurasian economic commission, the only regulatory body of the Customs Union.

"We should not underestimate the significance of this body. Thus, the government has decided to commission its representative to the commission. The matter is that the third part of our goods turnover falls within Customs Union countries, and mutual volume of trade exceeds 65 billion dollars," the Premier summed up.
