Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said he is generally dissatisfied with coverage of government by domestic media.

"Traditionally, news is built very simply. There are two protocol plots. At best, it will cover the President shaking hands with some diplomat, the Prime Minister, who says something for five seconds, and then there go solid stories about bad roads and a collapsed roof. You may think that two years ago the roads and roofs were very good".

According to PM, 90% of air time television media give negative coverage of the government's work.
"You won’t find information about opening of new schools, hospitals, kindergartens, roads, bridges, interchanges in the country," the Prime Minister concluded.
