President Viktor Yanukovych approved the law "On depository system of securities accounting," the website of the Verkhovna Rada reported.
On September 22, the law was returned to the Parliament with the President's signature. This law caused a number of comments and complaints by participants of the stock market.
In particular, on September 20, the "Ukrainian exchange" suspended trading for one hour as disagreement with the document and called on the President to veto it.
These actions of the exchange were supported by 55 largest participants of the stock exchange market.
Association "Stock partnership" also asked the President to veto this law.
At the same time, association "Ukrainian stock traders" and the Independent Association of Banks did not share a critical position in relation to this document.
