Tomorrow, the MPs will not consider the issue of Kyiv mayor early elections, Parliament’s speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"On Tuesday, the Parliament will consider early elections of village heads. We will not consider Kyiv mayor election as I do not see a single dominant position in the Parliament, among all factions including," Lytvyn said.
According to him, there are several opinions about this election. "One of them is to hold election of the mayor, then the city council election or = to hold them together. Here we need to find a legal solution. Some propose to apply to the Constitutional Court for clarification. I think that we should first reach a political agreement, and then adjust a legal solution," he said.
