Hunting licenses prices won’t rise

Prices for hunting licenses in Ukraine will not rise, chairman of the State Forest Resources Agency Viktor Syvets said during the official opening of the enclosure for keeping and breeding of wild animals in Zhytomyr region, ForUm correspondent reports.

"We're not going to raise the price for wild animals hunting license. Some years ago we raised them two-fold, but the Ukrainian hunters did not take this rule," he said.

The chairman of the State Agency noted that raising the license prices can be considered only after level of wealth of Ukrainians is increased.

To date, according to Syvets, the price for a roedeer hunting license is 150 UAH, a wild boar license - 300 UAH, a deer hunting license - 1000 UAH.
