FTA agreement with Turkey could be signed by the end of this year, vice Prime Minister, social policy minister Serhiy Tihipko told a briefing in Kharkiv on Friday, September 28, speaking about the possibility of expanding markets and volumes of production of Ukrainian high-tech enterprises.
"We are preparing for the free trade area with Turkey. I think that by the end of the year it (the FTA agreement - Ed.) will be signed," Tihipko said.

He stressed that the establishment of a free trade area will allow Ukrainian companies to find new markets for their products.

"We have a very clear program. We should expand the market - hence the ratification of a free trade with the CIS countries. The EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, including free trade area, is also prepared," Tihipko said.

He also stressed that the Parliament passed the law on industrial parks to stimulate the production of high-tech products.
