Within the days of commemoration of the tragedy of Babi Yar, Memorial Museum of the Jewish people and the Holocaust will be opened in Dnipropetrovsk, director of the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies "Tkuma" Ihor Shchupak told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, the opening of museum will take place on October 16. Shchupak stressed that this museum will become the largest one in the Eastern Europe dedicated to the history of the Jewish people.
"This museum will show not only tragedy of the Holocaust, but the Jewish civilization established on the territory of Ukraine," he said adding that Ukraine is a holy land to the Jews as the land of Israel.
