Ukraine will clearly monitor and respond to cases of discrimination against citizens while issuing visas to EU countries, first vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Khoroshkovsky said during the meeting of the coordination centre on the action plan on the liberalization of the EU visa regime for Ukraine on September 27, 2012.

"We have agreed to intensify the joint with the European Commission's monitoring of the implementation of the Agreement on visa facilitation and the relevant work with the member states," Khoroshkovsky said.

The participants of the coordination center meeting emphasized the need to track visa policies and practices of the EU embassies in Kyiv and to respond to the violation of visa procedures, the requirement to provide unreasonably large number of documents, etc.
