Starting from October 4, the Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Monitoring Service (Rosselkhoznadzor) imposes temporary restrictions on the import of food products produced by a number of Ukrainian companies.

As the Rosselkhoznadzor press service reports, the restrictions will be imposed following the audit conducted in July by the Rosselkhoznadzor specialists, veterinary services of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine.

Restrictions on imports in Russia will affect the Molis and the Globinsky Creamery plants (produce cheese, milk and butter), the Bel Shostka Ukraine plant (cheese production), the Zaria meat packing plant, the Zeus Company (beef and pork production), the Danone Dnipro, the Lactalis Nikolaev (dairy products), the APK-Invest (pork production).
 
In relation to products of three companies of Ukraine, producing canned fish, the Istok, the Odessa Canning Factory and the Interflot - a three-month regime of intensive laboratory testing under chemical-toxicological indicators was introduced.

Following the audit, the Sea Pearl (production of canned fish) and the Poultry Farm (poultry production) was included in the register of enterprises of third countries. The Belotserkovsky dairy plant was excluded from the register of organizations and individuals engaged in production, processing and storage of controlled goods imported into the territory of the Customs Union.
