Kyiv zoo general director fired

General director of the public utility "Kyiv zoological park of national importance" Oleksiy Tolstoukhov was dismissed, head of the press service of Kyiv zoo Anzhelika Komarova reported.

However, she did not specify when exactly Tolstoukhov was fired and whether it was his own volition or a decision of the city authorities.

Komarova also said that several members of Tolstoukhov’s team resigned.

The head of press service of the Kyiv zoo noted that she did not know any reasons for dismissal of the zoo head.
