Visa centers in Ukraine often work outside Ukrainian and European law, deputy director of the State Service of Ukraine for Personal Data protection Volodymyr Kozak said during the round table "EU visa practice in 2012: is there a change?", ForUm correspondent reports.
 
He informed that according to the results of Ukrainian visa centers work study, it was found that many of them failed to provide proof of their cooperation with the consulates of various countries. Some of the centers are even not officially registered in Ukraine.

"Predominantly, such visa centers are Ukrainian companies, which do not provide any legal basis for documents receipt on behalf of any foreign countries," the official said.

According to Kozak, the issue was discussed with the relevant authorities, responsible for the EU citizens personal data.

"We have a lot of questions and no answers," the official concluded.
