Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych will not sign the law on libel, if the Verkhovna Rada adopts it, advisor to the President of Ukraine Anna Herman told a program "Shuster Live" on the First National channel.
"The President of Ukraine will not sign the current version of this bill," Herman assured.
As ForUm reported, in the first reading, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a draft law on amendments to the Criminal Code and Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine on increasing of responsibility for the attack upon honor, dignity and business reputation of people. 244 MPs voted in favor of such decision.
