Adoption of the law of Ukraine "On principles of the state language policy" allows to eliminate the discrimination among Ukrainian and Russian-speaking population of our state, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov told a program "Exam for government," press service of the Cabinet reported.

"It is not normal that children are forbidden at school to talk in their native language. It is not normal that an old man speaking traditionally Russian can not deal with the drug label or read the instructions on use of these drugs. Such excesses are not normal," Azarov said commenting on the language law.

According to the Prime Minister, this issue must be based on reality. And the reality is that significant part of Ukraine speaks Russian. "Therefore, it is necessary to create conditions for people speaking Russian not to feel any discrimination. If the law solves this problem, it is already positive. And this is our principled position, which was implemented," Azarov declared.
