The Central Election Commission approved the procedure for the transfer of voting papers to the overseas polling stations. This decision, as ForUm correspondent reports, was taken at the regular meeting of the CEC.

The ballots will be transferred abroad in a number exceeding by 0.5% the voters on the list at a particular polling station. Ballots will be transported to the CEC accompanied by police officers.
 
The documents will be sent at to the authorized representative of the Foreign Ministry no earlier than three days before the vote. As an exception, they will be transferred six days before the vote. Ballots must be received by at least three members of a precinct election commission including the head of the commission.

Precinct election commission shall ensure the protection of ballots received. Documents shall be stored in a special safe, which shall be sealed in the presence of members of the commission members. The adhesive tape must be signed by the commission members, a safe should be protected.
