Trade turnover among Ukraine, Europe and CIS countries is almost equal, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych told a joint press conference with President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski, ForUm correspondent reports.
"If we talk about the economy, the trade turnover between the EU and CIS countries is almost the same and amounts to 60 billion dollar from both sides," the head of state said.
The President also added that Ukraine is interested in all world economic processes, including the Customs Union, as its countries number more than 90% of the trade turnover of the CIS countries.
"We are also interested in the processes of economic integration in such associations as SCO, ASEAN and BRIC. So we are looking for different ways to strengthen our trade turnover with all these economic associations," he stressed.
