The Ukrainian government expects the average hryvnia rate of 8.11-8.2 against a dollar for 2013, and this anticipation has been used to prepare the draft state budget of Ukraine for the next year, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said in the interview with central TV channels.
He expressed confidence that this rate will be maintained during the first half of 2013.
"We always expect a pessimistic rate. If you look at the budgets of 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013, it always had a pessimistic assessment, but that does not mean it will be sustained," Azarov said.
