Construction of the electricity transmission lines among Rivne, Khmelnytsky NPP and substation Kyiv will allow to make the best use of power plant and create the conditions for a stable and quality power supply for all central regions of Ukraine, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said after the ceremonial start of the electricity transmission lines construction.
"The decision taken in 2007 was absolutely necessary for us to provide stable and quality supply of electricity in the regions of Ukraine," he said.
Yanukovych added that this project is very important for the Ukrainian electricity exports.
The President of Ukraine stressed that it is one of the projects working on development of the country.
