Ukrainian delegation headed by chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov arrived on a working visit in the United States, the NBU official website informs.
The delegation includes finance minister Yuri Kolobov, agrarian policy and food minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk, ecology and natural resources Minister Eduard Stavitsky, chairman of the State Tax Service Oleksandr Klimenko, chairman of the State Customs Service Ighor Kaletnik, president of the Ukreximbank Mykola Udovichenko and other officials.
During the visit, which will last September 18 - 22, the Ukrainian delegation is to meet senior officials of the U.S. Treasury, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the Foreign Agricultural Service, U.S. Department of Energy, the Congress Committee on Energy and Commerce.
It is also scheduled to hold talks with the representatives of the U.S. Department of State, the leading American corporations and business associations.
The main purpose of the visit is conducting business consultations to expand trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and the U.S., to discuss new joint investment projects.
The Ukrainian delegation members and the representatives of U.S. business investment and financial community will discuss the state and prospects of development of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the USA.
