Officials, who are running for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine under the party lists, may not take pre-election leave, first deputy justice minister of Ukraine Inna Yemelyanova told reporters before the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The law on election clearly provides for the circumstances under which certain individuals are participating in election," she said.
Yemelyanova explained that an official should take a leave when his work is related to election campaigning, not to automatic inclusion in a party list.
