The system of preschool education in Ukraine will be improved in order to enable children to develop their abilities in early age, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said at the opening of the nursery in Odessa.
"Children's early education should be high quality. One of the greatest challenges facing the world - to create proper conditions for education of our children and grandchildren," Yanukovych said.
Today, the President said, the government pays much attention to ensure the necessary number of pre-school institutions. He reminded that the educational reform provides for compulsory pre-school education - so today there is also an urgent need for construction of new kindergarten.
