MPs, who do not work in the session hall and in committees, will not get their salaries, leader of the Party of Regions factions Oleksandr Yefremov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

In particular, he explained that two components form an MP’s salary.

"The first component is work in the session hall. The second component is work in the committee," Yefremov said.

"If an MP does not work in the session hall or in the committee, he will not get salary," he said.
As for the schedule of the Verkhovna Rada for October 2 and 16, Yefremov explained that this is a necessary measure, and it does not mean that the Verkhovna Rada of the seventh convocation will work under the same schedule.

"The next tenure will be determined on the basis of the decision taken by the newly elected MPs".
Meanwhile, he noted that the work in a constituency "is also a job." Accordingly, the MPs will get salary for it.
