Chairman of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov predicts that there will be no reduction of the exchange rate of hryvnia to the dollar in the coming year, he said at the Conciliation Board meeting in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The export-import balances of our state influence the exchange rate of dollar. If this balance is positive or decreases, we will not predict the rise of dollar, and even a trend of decrease can be noticed," Yefremov said.
According to him, 700 billion dollar printed by the USA influenced the euro rate, but not the hryvnia rate. "The fact that the reserve system of America decided to print dollars reflected immediately on the relationship of world's currencies. I see no reason to decrease the exchange rate of hryvnia to the dollar," Yefremov summed up.
