Ukrainian companies will present a lot of new developments in aviation, medicine, science and other fields at the 8th International "Aviasvit-XXI" Air Show.
During the round table "Development of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine", CEO of the Luch public utility company Oleh Korostylev said that his company will present its new developments at the air show, and although it is called the "Air Show", it is the only national exhibition of military technique. Besides aircraft missiles, the company will present overland technique, which is widely exported, ForUm correspondent reports.
"This technique is completely new. It works under laser principle... Also, we will present a technique, which is exported not only to the third countries, but also to Europe: Belgium. Germany. These are individual elements, not produced by the NATO... These are guided missiles," he said.
Chairman of the management board of the "Artem" plant Stanislav Smal said that the exhibition will feature "air-to-air" missiles, elements of aircraft weapon, bomb weapons, combat aircraft are equipped with. "We will represent civil engineering element, a medical sterilizer," Smal said, adding that in the former Soviet Union states such equipment is manufactured only at the Tyumen plant, but domestic development is more streamlined.
As representative of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Oleksandr Sotnikov informed, the exhibition will feature more than 20 research institutes and their developments. "We will represent living tissue welding, achievements in the field of energy, computational models. It is difficult to list everything - there is about 100 items".
