At the beginning of this week, Ukrainian delegation consisting of ministers of finance, environment and agriculture, as well as the head of the NBU, tax and customs authorities are going to visit Washington. Their task is to discuss with the USA future projects and current issues. One more task is to arrange meetings at the high official level for Yanukovych, who visits the USA at the end of September, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine reported.
During the visit, the Ukrainian party will meet with officials of the state department, adviser to the President of the USA for National Security Affairs Thomas Donilon, first deputy director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) David Lipton and other officials and representatives of the American business and industry associations.
At the same time, according to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych will visit Washington within the framework of upcoming UN General Assembly. The Foreign Ministry and the Ukrainian delegation have a task to organize meetings for the Ukrainian President at the high level.
